My passion for art, creation and life began in the streets of Atlanta, it's blend of red clay, asphalt, cotton field hymnals, slang and summer heat are not only my inspiration, but my voice. From growing up playing basketball in the SWAT to graduationg from Banneker High School in 1996; and playing at Carver Bible College for 2 years. Atlanta is my home and the heartbeat of my soul.
I use mainly acrylics and I work a little bit with oils. My earlier projects have included vinyl and textures. Each idea manifests in its own individual style.
My artistic philosophy is to touch a person on all five of their senses to create an experience, memory, and personal connection to the art and moment in life. It's my goal to show how the history of HWY 78 changed and healed a nation. Our history contrary to mass belief is not in the wounds of slavery, but the strenght and pride of art
My artistic philosophy is to touch a person on all five of their senses to create an experience, memory, and personal connection to the art and moment in life. It's my goal to show how the history of HWY 78 changed and healed a nation. Our history contrary to mass belief is not in the wounds of slavery, but the strenght and pride of art, community, charm and triumph in tragedy. I create by highlighting specific impactful decades of music, fashion and southern cultural influences on society.
